It's going to be a smaller rv with the vehicle you mentioned, no doubt. Hell- my truck GVWR is around 14,000, so add up 6,800 vehicle, 500lb occupants, 100lb occupant gear, 750lbs payload- that leaves 5,850 or 6,000 (technically or thereabouts )

I am thinking of purchasing a used park model RV to use on property I own with my 2 brothers. It would replace a small camper that's already there. Electric is already there. There's water, flush toilet, and shower in a building already on the property, and the RV could be hooked into the utilities fairly cheaply (we're all originally farm kids and we have the know-how and the equipment to do this).

What would be things to look for with a used park model that's been set up for a while? I'm thinking that the integrity of the frame/flooring would be of paramount concern as this is a damp climate with snowy winters, and if it wasn't set properly it might rot from underneath. What else?

Roof leaks at seams and joints / valleys / penetrations.

Be very picky about inspection, look for loose or stained sheetrock, and check the sill plates (under walls).
If it has composite siding or facia, beware of rot.

Chances are good that it wil be fine.
