Like getting out of my swim suit and back into jeans after getting out of the drink.

With my F-250 crew cab, I am toying with the notion of blankets or towels over two open doors, another over the space to the world, and one at my back so the view from the windows is obscure.

But is that trying to do things too cheap since it doesn't answer the question of what holds the sheets to the doors/back window space, and are things like tail gate shelters, Kelty Backroads shelters, car awnings, other things like here: https://www.rei.com/c/roof-top-tents better....especially in these sales times?

Long beach towels over doors should do the trick.

I would go with this one.

Better yet, look on Amazon and there are similar privacy shelters for $30-50.

You just want to change out of swimsuit & into street clothing? Do you have tinted windows on your truck? If not, get limo tint, change in the truck.

That's the sort of thing I would recommend. If you get a shower version, you can also rinse off if your are dirty.
