I think that most people are taking it seriously and being careful, but there are always a few that mess it up for everyone.
Yeh...like the prime minister...hypocrite that he is.

BC's phase 4 = conditional on vaccination?? Then the whole BC leadership (which servers their Globalist Cabal masters) should be hanged by trees. Like the traitors that they are.

Canada now has more Covid 19 deaths than China!

Canada 4,693 deaths

China 4,633 deaths

Think about that....

Canada population 37 million

China population 1.3 billion

And it started in China

Can is doing better than USA but not really doing that great.

Australia has about 10 times less Covid 19 cases than Canada....and way less deaths.

IMO Justin and Theresa Tam could have been a bit quicker on Covid 19...
back in January ...February...and early march.

Can we trust the Chinese numbers?

I have my doubts.

1- We can't trust Chinese numbers.
2- Yes, we are doing much much better than the US, their death rate is double what we have here.
3- Australia is an isolated island and doesn't share borders with the epidemic epicenter. Many of the cases in Canada originated from people coming south of the border.

Numbers 1 & 3 are especially salient points:

1. Chinese numbers cannot be trusted.
2. It has been demonstrated that most of our cases were imported from the US, not China. Sharing a massive border with the global epicenter of the outbreak has not helped us.

I also hope provincial borders remain shut to all but essential traffic for a while. There are still waaay too many cases in some provinces for me to feel comfortable with that. I don't want to have us all have to start from scratch again.

Just some thoughts that are meandering around inside my head.

We now know that most of our cases were imported from the USA, not from China.

Do we know that it's a 100% for sure fire fact that the virus originated / started in China and not somewhere else? I think too much finger pointing and emphasis of blame is being put on China and so they are going on the defensive. Maybe fudging numbers because of that.

China has so many people coming and going around the world all the time, so how do we know that the virus was not brought to China from somewhere else in the world? Just like Canadians brought it to Canada from the USA. Wuhan itself is a university city with multiple universities, it has thousands of international students coming and going from all over the world every year.

So how do we know that some of those international students didn't bring the virus with them from some other country and then Wuhan became an epicenter for the first big outbreak because it has so many people in it from everywhere else in the world? All exposing each other as well as China's own students and their families and other people of China. And thence to more Chinese travelers as well as other students travelling back to their own countries.

.

Seriously where are you getting your talking point from? You sure didn’t read Phase 4.

First it will be determined by at least one of the following: a vaccine, “community” immunity or successful treatment options.

Second the only things not opening until Phase 4 are large gatherings like concerts and conventions. Also no international travel but no one wants us to go to their country either right now.

The worst part of all is the knowledge that all authoritative and once trusted organizations that would be tasked to find the genesis and report that impartially have now been co-opted by becoming just another of the thousands of bureaucracies reliant upon funding, fudging those reports to maintain the money flow.

All the things serving to add to my frustration:

/Canadian politics becoming nothing more than petty partisan bickering regardless of worthy policies or not.
/Internet lending a platform for the boobs that perpetuate all sorts of stupid memes whereas, before these people weren't given widespread opportunity to spread their basement dweller paranoia or foreign government directed divisiveness.
/ Various countries with imperialistic governments patterning everything to suit their agenda with the idiots in the room unable to lift the rug and peek underneath.
/Responsibility for early mistakes not being accepted by these various leaders, when given critical information they chose to ignore it and they've been proven wrong in such spectacular fashion.
/The people themselves spending too much time obsessing over the irrelevant "he said, she said" nonsense.

It's all so tiring and pointless now.

All of the facts will eventually come out as is usual; after the public has lost interest, hasn't learned from the lessons , and has moved on to who is going to win the next Oscar for Best Fiction.
