As a final post here, my son did not respond to treatments and, per his wishes, was removed from life support early this morning. He passed away at about 9 o’clock.
Sorry to hear, Buckeye77.. I hadn't seen this topic before and am just catching up.. Wow.. That was pretty fast. You posted the stats that aligned with what I was thinking.. This is generally one of the cancers that has a decent survival rate. 5 months from diagnosis to death.. That's more what I expect from pancreatic cancer.

Thank you all for the kind words and prayers. There will be a memorial, with military honors, back in Ohio in September. I won’t be able to attend. His ashes will be buried next to his sister.
