This can't be a natural birth, can it? At age 51?

Supposedly she had a surrogate before, so is that how this son was born?

The media is suspiciously silent on this, so thought I'd ask here.

Was it natural? I don't know. Is is possible? Yes, it is possible to get pregnant after 50. Rare, but definitely possible. I'm 49 and still having periods. They're irregular, but still happening.

I don't think that Cameron Diaz could have been walking around pregnant without someone noticing it. It seems that they likely used a surrogate.

She's a young 51, has always been physically active and seems to take great care of herself so she will hopefully remain in good health for many years to come.

I too was very late.. 54 as my daughter is now... but I dont think you can still get pregnant.. jeezo what a thought..

51 is the average age for menopause (which is defined as the date at which a woman has gone one full calendar year without having a period). Even if she were still having regular or irregular periods at this age, which would be rare, her fertility would be in the toilet. I suppose it's possible and has happened, but considering that she's a rich celebrity, I would suspect some scientific intervention of one sort or another. And, being rich and famous, she also probably won't be PERSONALLY chasing the little darling around at her advanced age.

My mother in-law had her last of eight children at 50. Completely natural. My wife was 21 years old when I met her, her youngest brother was 2.
