I believe the Cell phone you will be using to replace your existing cell phone has to have the "Unlocked" feature therefore allowing to use the "Unlocked" Cell with any Carrier just by swapping the sim card. In short I would have to say it's doable. The sim card if I'm not mistaken stores your personal information e.g. phone numbers, and account information.

Yes, you can use the go phone card in ANY At&t phone, as long as it is AT&T. But if you are wanting to put it into a Blackberry, or a Blackjack, you will have problems getting text messages. But yes you can put it in any at&t phone without any problems.

Yep, you can. However, I disagree with the putting it in a BlackBerry. My business partner took my old BB Curve, and he has a prepaid AT&T SIM card as he lives in Holland most of the time, not the U.S. Worked just fine.
I have a Blackberry curve and im using the At&t Go phone sim card in it, i was wondering if i can access the internet on it since it has wifi, without using the go-phone minutes?
