we are looking to relocate from fl to cleveland no nothing about it just heard it was a nice area!! im a nursinfg assistant my husband is a finish carpenter we have 2 kids 12 and 15 we are looking for a small town atmosphere but with jobs at least 45 min away. we moved to fl from mh 4 years ago being that my parents are here we hate it. i want that country living again and seasons!! also what is the pay rate around this area? anyone have any ideas. i would like to move asap. i am just not sure were in tn we want a safe place and a quiet little town i no it sounds a bit crazy but i would really like a place like that if it even exists out there

D: Hello , We are exactly one year ahead of you. Florida halfback, who targeted Cleveland. It is really not that small town,Nice small city now, religious College town, newer construction along the I-75 corridor, so that part is busy. OCOEE is start of mtn range and famous for the white water rapid 1996 Olympic kayak, dams get water release many Saturdays, area busy with "OUTFITTERS" for raft rental guides.

Hi Dakota,
There are jobs in healthcare here in the Cleveland area or you could drive to Chattanooga like I do. I am not a care giver but I do work for a LTC facility. The largerst in this area. Life Care Centers of America. You would like working for them. The pay for a Cert. Nursing Assistant is based on your years of experiance. Or there are numberous hospital in the Chattanooga area and we have two in Cleveland.
I live in a very small town north of Cleveland but selling my home and moving close to my kids. I have been here for 13 years and have loved it.
There is a lot of contruction in the area for your husband.
Schools are good and safe. The area is like most anywhere you are, we have our trouble but not everyday..

We originally set our sights on Cleveland, Tn. Their websites are very nice. It has a fairly decent downtown, seems to be just starting to get revitalized. It has a HUGE Church of God presence.
