I'll be down in the area from Aug. 14 - 19. to visit some friends.

What should I make sure to do/see while I'm there?

Nightfall is awesome, Friday nights downtown. I believe Beachbyrd posted a link to their schedule on another thread. Do a search or perhaps she'll read this and can provide.

I'd hike from Point Park on Lookout Mountain to Sunset Rock and back (about 2 easy miles total), and then have lunch at the Lookout Cafe. Beautiful views, a little history, a hidden gem of a thing to do imo. Lookout Cafe has good food and their terrace is really nice.

I'd also check out the live music . . . nightfall, or Riverhouse every Fri/Sat at 9pm.

I'd have dinner along the river . . . Blue Plate, Riverhouse, Tony's, Boathouse, whatever suits your budget.

Take a ride on the Southern Belle . . . maybe not the dinner cruise, but the 1.5 hour up and down the river is a nice way to see the city and get an unique view of Lookout Mtn.

Walk along Ross's Landing and over the Walnut St Bridge at twilight, how beautiful!

At least 4BR/3B, great room concept if possible, 1/2 acre at least, 2750-3500 SqFt., mid 200K-400K

We're eyeing one on inlet view lane on hixson side/ might look at soddy daisy. DH says I'm a little bougie (don't think I spelled that right) and that's probably why I'm drawn to Ooltewah/Apison side.

Thanks 4 help
