Honestly, neither.. ..but East TN / W.NC is slightly more in line with ATL.

I agree with the above Atlanta really is it’s own thing but I guess East Tn and Western NC would be the closest. South Georgia and Coastal Georgia is nothing like metro Atlanta nor is that part Georgia in the Piedmont region.
