Highside had, and has, the benefit of a MUCH larger building ("canvas") to work with. Nevertheless, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and I see Banks as a big success. Especially with its live entertainment events.

I thought Banks was a dedicated food hall vs Highside? Is that correct?

Banks is a dedicated food hall, but they only have 7 vendors, which is not all that honestly. I guess the purpose is to just serve the crowd around Bay Ave.

Banks is still successful though. Always packed on weekends and during lunch hours on the weekdays.

Well on their website, Banks has “Coming soon” for stall 9. Interested to see what that will be.

Agreed. As I food hall, it seemed to be pretty successful IMO.

Yes, I think the main purpose is to walk and enjoy Highside from wherever you park your car at or may be in the downtown area. Not necessarily have to park at “Highside” cause you’re going there.

Now if the development itself was a bit more massive then I’m sure developers would’ve attached a parking garage in some way.
