Household income rose 6.5% in Columbus and 4.5% in Franklin County in 2012, rates well above the national average. Good news, but the median is still a bit below where it was before the recession, so it's still in recovery phase.

Home sales in Central Ohio cool down after blazing summer, with government shutdown possibly a factor - Columbus - Business First

From the title, you'd think this news may be bad, but home sales were still up double digits at +13% for September. It just goes to show how high they've been lately that 13% seems bad by comparison.
