I was turning into my subdivision couple of weeks ago and something ran in front of me in the middle of the right turn.

I didn't get a good look at it, but it was larger than a large dog and kind of had fuzzy fur at the bottom of its belly. That's all I was able to see. It didn't move like a dog, however. It moved in a very stealthy manner and quickly.

Any ideas on what I saw? Coyote, maybe? I have no idea how they move.

Could be a fox or coyote. We had both in NE Ohio.

yeah, fox or coyote..I actually ran a coyote off from attacking my dog several years ago as she was in my back yard doing her business. At first I though it was a small german shephard, kinda like a shiba inu, but once it was closer it was def a coyote..luckily I startled the thing cause my pommeranian wouldve made a nice snack.

Bobcats have been making a comeback throughout Ohio. Maybe you saw one? Unlikely but not impossible. I swear I heard one up in Cleveland last year.

None of those animals would look "larger than a large dog". Do you mean this was really bigger than a Great Dane?

Coywolf, perhaps?
They are a hybrid, wolf and coyote, and they tend to live in and around cities. They are secretive, nocturnal and very clever. If he tucked his tail under it would look like a clump of fur.

I saw a video of one watching a jogger and using a parked car as cover. The jogger came withing several feet and never saw him as he moved around the car, keeping on the far side.

Bear. Nothing else would fit the description, especially a fox LOL.

Coat was kind of gray the way I remember it. I hope it's nothing that attacks when you're walking around the neighborhood at night.
