To get rid of tricky programs, try ending them in Task Manager. If that doesn't work, use a free tool like Revo Uninstaller. It's easy and does a good job removing stubborn software leftovers.

You can use the command-line interface in Windows or Terminal on macOS to execute commands such as "wmic" or "pkgutil" with the appropriate flags to remove the software. Alternatively, third-party uninstaller tools like Revo Uninstaller or IObit Uninstaller offer comprehensive features for thorough program removal, including leftover file and registry cleanup.
