It's crazy that you posted this on here because I was looking at this one yesterday and started to post the picture on here to see if anyone could ID this bike. I emailed the seller yesterday asking them if it was still available and what model it was and their response was (these are exact words, I copied and pasted it)"It's still available and it's a schwinn 10 gears" .
I know, I can see that the model name is printed on the top tube, but I can't read it. See if he'll check the top tube for you.

That's one of those bikes that has some features that are normally reserved for fairly nice bikes, but others typically found on cheaper models. It has thin, probably stamped rear dropouts and a claw adapter mount for the rear derailleur, but then it also has some pretty good components, like the Raleigh branded derailleur that's essentially a nice Suntour. Probably rides very nicely and I'd say it's worth $75 easily, but also probably too large for you, unfortunately.
If it doesn't have any bad rust, and it is a Le Tour, I'd say $100 is a pretty good price for it. I think the Le Tour was a pretty good entry level performance bike, though not really considered a "race" bike. Full chromoly frame with double butted main tubes and decent Suntour components (Sprint, maybe?). I am surprised they still had non-aero brake levers in 1988 though.

That is a big frame, at least a 61. Take a look at the head tube on my Serotta and compare it to the Raleigh, My Serotta has a 62cm c-c seat tube, and I'm 6'4".
Hmmm, I might have had those on an early Cannondale. I think it was the with the 105 Groupo...
Here it is Biopace 1983-93
Last Bike I saw them on I owned, it was 89 Bridgestone MB1. Now that was mans bike, no shocks, no click shifters, shifters on the top of the bars... LOL. My Brother bought a fairly expensive Trek a few years ago and when I tried it I felt like I was getting on the Brisdgestone so I guess they were doing something right. It was approximatrly the same size frame but all the other dimensions felt the same.
I have been in contact with the owners of both the Trek 1000 and the Schwinn Le Tour, are they on the same level? If one is better than the other, which one is better? I have also been emailing a person who is selling a Panasonic DX 1000, is that one any good? How does it compare with the others? It is listed at $100 just like the Schwinn. I have been wondering if the Panasonic and the Schwinn are the same bike? I remember reading somewhere that Panasonic made bikes for Schwinn for awhile and they have a similar color scheme.
I'm pretty sure the Trek is a higher end bike than the Schwinn, but I think it'll probably be a little small for you. The Trek would probably almost fit me, and I'm 5'9". From what I can tell just from searching the web, the Panasonic is probably pretty similar to the Schwinn. Neither are anything fancy, but they should be decent, basic road bikes and if they fit you well and don't have any major problems, then I'd say $100 is a reasonable price for either. Do you have a picture of the Panasonic?

After reading the new ad for the Panasonic, I believe that will be too small for me as well since the seller states it is too small for them and they are 5'10". They have even uploaded new pics and it appears to be small. Here is the ad:
Also, 22 1/4" is about 56cms right according to the net and I belive I need a 58cm. Is that a huge difference? If I am calculating right it is about 3/4 of and inch difference. Is there any way to make up the size difference?

When you are down in this low of a price range, and probably both made by GIANT, you might as well just get the one that fits the best.
