So has anyone else noticed more cyclists on the road? How about motorcycles and scooters?
Now that the weather in Idaho has finally warmed up, I've seen tons and tons more people biking than previous years.
I ride my bike to work when the weather allows, and in previous years, I would usually only see 1-2 cyclists (its a short ride). This year, I've been seeing an average of 8-10 per ride. Yesterday I had to pass one in the bike line and today I had to yield to one when making a left turn. Its great!
I've also seen quite a few people riding around on scooters, but I haven't really noticed an increase in motorcycles.
I'm in Colorado - it's always been a heavy biking area. So in that regard, I'm not seeing anymore cyclists.
As far as scooters go - have seen more of those. Motorcycles - always popular here as well, so not seeing an increase, but I am reading about an increase in the paper regarding motorcycle accidents/fatalities. I do believe more people have gotten them but have not learned how to ride them.
