Hi y'all! I'm looking to move in the next year and am especially looking around Milton - The historic district is so beautiful!

I've heard that it snows less near the sea and I'm worried about missing it. I'm from an area where we usually get at least one snowfall with a few inches before Christmas. How much does it snow in Milton?

I live just south of Milton in the Lewes area. I think we have had 3 or 4 plowable snowstorms in the past 9 winters since I have lived here. We get rain storms and flooded roads, fog and the wind can get really strong thru out the year. If it snows I just wait until it melts. I retired here to never have to use a snow shovel again for the rest of my life.

This year we had maybe 1.2 inches in Rehoboth. I will say we usually get at least a little more here and here and there a heavier snowfall, but I have to say if you know that you will miss the snow, maybe further north in De. is where you might want to look. The closer you get to NJ, generally speaking is where the snowfall is greater.

OP is worried about missing snow - definitely not a concern of mine. I don’t miss that mess at all.

Or go to Penn., like the Poconos, to see snow.

I'm in Kent County, Delaware.....mid state near Dover. This year, we had a couple bouts of flurries. Whatever hit the ground was gone almost immediately.....NO accumulation.
