I didnt know my teeth were so weak and had some fights.Anyways the business of dentistry is messed up.No wonder they are going out of business.Dentures can be bad and ok but you will not get much dental work in USA becuase it is too expensive.

Is there any one that says when they laugh 80% of the fake gum over the top teeth stick out. My real teeth never ever showed my gums so why do the false teeth do this. I thought when they did the mold it was suppose to be just like my mouth/gums/teetch. please someone tell me if I need to be speaking up. I do have monkey mouth. My upper teeth were pulled Dec. 27th.

This is the only predictable result. Otherwise, a denture is just a piece of plastic floating in an ocean of spit.

It could be a toothpick. Or a sliver from that time when you were a kid that you chewed on a branch off the mimosa tree in the back yard. Or it could be a tooth. Or a piece of a dental instrument. Or a popcorn kernel. Or an alien baby that was implanted under your gum when the space invaders took you to the mothership. My guess: your dentist will know for sure just as soon as he takes a look.

It's usually the irregular bone that used to be "protected" by the teeth. Look at this photo and imagine the sharp areas of bone when the teeth are missing:

If you want dentures, most people need an alveoloplasty to smooth off these areas, which is most efficiently done at the same time the teeth are removed.

I guess there are more success stories than not when it comes to dentures but mine is not a success story .. after 5000 dollars 6 years ago I have not worn mine a day .. my jaws were way to deteriated to form a grip ..but I don't miss them one bit .. just have to adjust what one consumes ...

I'm glad to read these posts & realize I'm not alone! I have a bone disease & have always had almost perfect straight great teeth but in the last 6 months to a year the bone disease has completely attacked the bk ones & now is starting on the others. After consulting with a couple specialists it is inevitable I am going to lose all my teeth so to be proactive I am going to Daily Dentures & have all 27 teeth pulled & temporary dentures placed right in I'm really anxious to get it over with but very nervous about getting it done so all the comments about that type of procedure seem promising thank you all!! If I can remember I'll come bk after July 10th (surgery date) & update y'all!
