Reunion is a nice subdivision too, even though it's far away from everything. Gotta give them credit for trying! I'm interested to see how this effort unfolds.
People make fun of Commerce City but it has much going for it as this Denver Post article illustrates:

Same here. Don't despair though, one faint glimmer of light through the clouds doesn't mean the storm is over.

While it's far from definitive, when we closed on our house in Reunion last April, there were over a dozen homes for sale and no new builds going on. 2 months later and all were bought and at least another 6+ being built.

I smell a bubble.

Actually I'm kind of hoping for one.

Not doom and gloom...just tired of living in places and being priced out of reasonable houses by speculators and people that believe their house is supposed to be a future cash cow. I think it's okay for a house to appreciate...but to rely on that really irks me.

Almost all housing markets eventually end up in a bubble. The question is just will it end soon or 5 years and 50%+ from here?

Same here, but there'll be liberals flocking in from all over with the new smokey blue tint to the state to more than make up for our reluctance.

Gays and potheads should do wonders for the housing market.
