Is there a point at which this thread will be closed, since there's no snow (and little winter) to talk about?

I’m looking forward to snow!

Although not technically “Denver,” I had about an inch of snow on the grass at my house in Golden, on Thanksgiving Day. So I get the whole “Denver hasn’t had measurable snow” thing, but we had a little bit, just ~10 miles west fo Downtown Denver in Golden. I’m at the base of the foothills, but not in the hills.

We got just enough here in SE Aurora (with a layer of ice underneath) to bring out all the bad drivers. Only saw one accident, but I saw plenty of folks in vehicles more capable than mine spinning their tires. Winter tires and AWD are great, but they won't overcome stupidity.

Default AYFKM? 90 tomorrow, 8-12" of snow possible Friday and Saturday.

We're not done with winter yet. Sweet Jesus we need the moisture, but the prospect of 8-12" of snow Friday into Saturday sucks. Most of it will melt because they're forecasting temps to stay above freezing. A little colder, though, and this snowstorm could be a mess.
