That sign has been around since the Johnson Administration. Probably didn't look any better back then. Yet, it's historic so it must be fascinating and no one can argue it isn't!

Great pictures. Des Moines is very nice. Not too big and not too small. I love the brick buildings. DSM reminds me a little bit of Boise, ID. I hope to visit Des Moines soon. Looking for a small to mid-sized city to open a restaurant.
