Hey, that's the good thing about this country, there is such a wide variety of places to live to get a wide variety of weather. I personally like HOT weather (if it hits 100 I dance for joy!) and can't imagine why someone would like winter, but that's JMO. I can't stand to be cold, and that is why I am moving south

Still chilly when I went outside to go to lunch. The sun is warm, but the air is still cold to me. I need a jacket still.

(It's 60)

ElleTea, I thought of you last night when I cracked open my bedroom window. It's been in the 50s in Ohio but sunny during the day, so my south-facing bedroom is starting to heat up.

When I first moved to Central Ohio from Michigan, I thought I was going to die that first summer. It was 100 degrees for several weeks, with ongoing ozone (pollution) alerts. We had mostly 80 degree days (usually much less) in upper Michigan, with a much better air quality.

I'm looking forward to being farther north again. I know you folks have spells of 100 degrees (HHH -- wilt and kill! Hazy! Hot! Humid!) but from my comparison of weather data, it's much less intense there.

I hope that you quickly adjust to your first summer farther south. It took me two years to get used to it here.

No worries for me. I love hot weather, that is why I am considering places like Phoenix and south Florida for my move I don't want real seasons at all. I rejoice when the temp nears 100!

Its over 60 now and I'm still bundled up and running the furnace!

I'll pass on the horrid hot sun angle of Yuma at well under 30N latitude... The northern sun angle is far better.
