Right now, I have a tie: Little Diner in Canutillo, and Barriga's.

Su Casa on Yandell is good for lunch. Grandma works in the back.

Or -- maybe decide what's the best place for enchiladas, where the best tacos are, the best tampiqueña, queso fondu, chiles rellenos and so on are.

Right now I like Taco Tote if I was taking guests from out of town for Mexican food.

Default Restaurants in El Paso

I like El Taco Tote on the West side. The food's great, the place is so-so though, but we're talking abt. food here. Everytime we have guests/visitors from out of town we take them there and they always liked it. I haven't tried "Little Diner" , maybe this weekend, we'll try to eat there. I ordered some tamales at "Little Diner" over Xmas and we liked it. Jaxon's on the west side is good as well, my husband likes the salsa. The service is excellent as well at Jaxon's west side!

Casa Jurado has good chiles rellenos also.

I like the salsa (depends on who makes it I think but it's homemade) at Las Fuentes.
