It depends on what you like to watch. I think it's worth it, especially with all of the other benefits that Amazon Prime offers.

I just watched Chloe on Amazon today. One of the characters "Chloe" from 2009 she sure grew up fast. She played in the HBO shows Good Love as one of the daughters.

^ This.

I doubt I'd be a subscriber if Prime Video was a stand alone service. But when you tack it on with Prime delivery, Amazon Photos, Amazon Music, Alexa (not really a perk as I think you'd get this with a free account anyways), etc. It's not bad for ~$12 a month.

They do have some good Orignal stuff like Reacher, Jack Ryan, and Hannah. Man in the High Castle was really good. And while it's not my cup of tea, I hear Marvelous Ms. Maisel is great. Again, I wouldn't compare it to what you would get from Netflix or Hulu. But, the price is comparable and you're getting more than just a streaming service.

Especially when you consider Walmart+ is $8 a year if you pay annually - and you don't get as much (although Paramount+ has really grown on me).

And if you order more than $2800 a year on Amazon. Get the Prime card that gives you 5% back. Pretty much pays for the Prime fee. You can even extend this by buying gift cards on Amazon and using it for other purchases.

The other benefit is Amazon's return policy is one of the best IMO. Not to mention on various occasions, they've just given me a refund and told me to keep the stuff.

I watched what I call a good movie on Amazon this weekend.

It was called " 1408" It's not a new one it's from 2007 starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson. I don't normally watch the haunted type movies but this one was good. A lot of creative ideas in this one.

I don't know anyone that gets Amazon Prime for the movies. It's just an added benefit. A couple movies a month plus Thursday Night Football is enough for me.

Is on patrol live on reelz really on prime tv? We got rid of cable recently, and a Google search said it would only be on the reelz streaming app. Gonna have to check into this.

I used to watch Prime Video a lot more than I do now, but I still check it out now and then. I do use Prime shipping so I'm keeping Prime for now. These days I'm usually watching stuff on free Roku channels.

Yes, most people do not think they are subscribing to Amazon Prime Video. They believe they are paying a flat rate for free shipping. It is cost effective to pay for that without any video at all.
