Masked Singer - watching sorta celebrities sing in weird costumes hasn't gotten old yet.
I Shouldn't Be Alive - Watching people make it through survival situations is relaxing and calming to me.
Ancient Aliens - Eye Candy show: megaliths, geographic formations, ancient art and texts, mysteries of history, on the screen as the talking heads pontificate. The visuals overcomes the weird reference every 5 minutes "because aliens."
I don't feel guilty one bit about General Hospital. Nor do I feel guilty about watching old TV shows, unless I spend an entire day watching something silly like Gilligan's Island or Green Acres.
I guess my guiltiest pleasures would be some reality TV: Flipping Vegas, the entire Honey Boo Boo/Mama June saga, Sister Wives.
General Hospital. I've watched literally since I was 5 (almost 45 years). I don't always watch the show beginning to end. I've mastered the art of skimming to pick up the major plot points. But I do still watch every day.
Hahaha, I bet the characters and storylines are still the same! I used to watch that and One Life To Live for a while. Then I’d take a break, watch again a couple years later and the same characters were still dealing with the same traumas and dramas.
Gotta love the soaps.
Ever wonder why my DVD library is so full of the last century? Emergency and Adam-12 is part of it.
Oh, yes! I watched a lot of those reruns in high school... not sure if I could watch them now or if it would ruin the nostalgia.
The A-Team. And lately I've been watching episodes of Airwolf (a friend let me borrow his box set). Those cheesy 80s action shows that I never watched as a kid. (They're a lot of fun, but again, I wonder if nostalgia is doing a lot of it-- back then maybe I wouldn't have been into them, or 10-20 years ago I maybe wouldn't have been. Or maybe, at the time they aired, with the kid factor, I would've been.)
