There is a subduction zone around the Clearwater air port where you get the effect of the bay and the gulf breezes that seems to always get rain jane around noon to 2pm. It just never rains where i live.

It was the same when i lived in Danashores less than a mile from Tampa airport the 41 years i lived there. It is me that keeps the rain away. There is a force field that can't be broke and that is no joke.

If i moved to a rain forest there would be a dead zone where ever i lived within a mile around me.

There are no living things in my hood but dillo's that dig a hole under the house. The old gas trick will get rid of them but another takes it's place brother. Anywhere there is a bush next to the house they will dig a hole. I had to run chicken wire under the dirt to keep them away.

I was at a concert in Tampa last evening, and it rained really good off & one for ~2 hrs during out tailgate, but down in Venice where I live...still dry as a bone.

I need to learn that Calusa rain dance...the aquatic wildlife, & the wildlife that preys on it, must be getting nervous. Our ponds are down by 1/3rd.

It's raining a little bit here about 14 miles north of downtown Punta Gorda. Probably won't amount to much accumulation but hopefully will be more later on.
