The snowbirds are here, and while they are here, they are even lords of the hospitality and customer service industry. All bars and restaurants in Southwest Florida including the Fort Myers/Cape Coral metro area have become crowded to maximum capacity and will remain like that, all 7 days a week, from Thanksgiving until roughly the first week of May, with year-round locals totally crowded out for much of that time period in many cases.

And with snowbird season, those that love taking pictures, selfies included, with their favorite bartenders and waitresses that are at work at their favorite bars and restaurants will need to put the cameras and phones away, and keep them away until the first week of May, as all bars and restaurants become far too crowded and too busy for any bartender or server to take pictures with their regulars, and hence no pictures or video selfies at all during the part of November after Thanksgiving, as well as during the months of December, January, February, March, and April. Even Hooters waitresses in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and surrounding areas have absolutely no time for pictures during that stretch of time, so if your birthday is January 15th, you can forget about ever taking pictures with your favorite bartender or waitress on your birthday.

And don't think that you can go to your favorite bar or restaurant in the middle of the week and take a few selfies with your favorite bartender or waitress, either, during snowbird season. Snowbirds are retired people! They are retired from the workforce and have no work or work schedules at all for 365 days a year.

Snowbirds have no respect for year-round locals, and they make reservations, sometimes up to 3 years in advance, at the bars and restaurants they want to go to. That is why there may be little to no line outside, but once you get in, it's an ocean of cotton-gray in there, crowded like a zoo, and there is no place to sit down. And in many cases, all you can do is leave because you have been crowded out by the snowbirds, many of whom are there on reservations made over a year in advance.

Okay. I don't know if you are a snowbird annoyed with getting your picture taken or a youngster annoyed with snowbirds.

Obviously the employees of the restaurants and bars are glad to see the snowbirds’ arrival. More tips for them.

Sorry you’re upset you’ll have to take a few months break from taking selfies with the staff.

It seems to me that the OP is somewhat of a pest to the female employees that are working to
make their weekly income. Why don't you be nice and stop bothering them?
Florida invited all those 'snowbirds' long before you were ever born and, in fact, even
told everyone to stop and have some free orange juice when we all arrive.

Clearly, the OP does not understand that it is illegal under Federal law in the United States of America, as enforced by the FBI and Homeland Security to take pictures at any place or facility of work and/or business. Under Federal law, all facilities of work and business are protected by Federal copyright to where anyone, employee or customer, who takes and/or poses for pictures and/or videos of any kind, including with others and including for personal and/or social media viewing, welcomed or not, at any facility of work and/or business, shall be guilty of criminal copyright infringement which is investigated by the FBI and carries a sentence for all involved of up to five (5) years in prison. Also, under U.S. Title 92, Subtitle R, Division T, Chapter 871, Subchapter 66, as passed by Congress and signed into Federal law by President Trump in January 2020, any person who forms or attempts to form any type of friendship or relationship, welcomed or not, with any person or persons at any place or facility of work, business, or tertiary education, as well as whom interacts with any stranger in a non-business manner, welcomed or not, while at any public use facility, shall be guilty of statutory stalking which is investigated by the FBI, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Military, the U.S. Marshals, the U.S. Supreme Court, and which carries a mandatory sentence of three hundred (300) years to life in prison and/or the death penalty for all involved.

Ok..............not sure if you made this up or simply cut and pasted it out of context but a few things:

1. Million of pics are taken daily inside businesses in Florida, clearly the FBI isn't hunting down everyone with an iphone and sending them to jail for 5 years!

2. Your stalking statue again is out of context, if not then anyone talking to anyone could be subject to that claim. Google: U.S. Title 92, Subtitle R, Division T, Chapter 871, Subchapter 66 and it comes up with nothing so either you made it up or got the numbers wrong.

And no chance is a stalking case going to get 300 years or life in prison.

The OP is clearly being sarcastic about snowbirds but I do suspect that the ladies at Hooters clearly aren't in favor of getting hounded by the OP for more pics with him.

Also consider with AI that selfies with strangers can certainly be altered easily into some interesting poses.

I wouldn't exactly fancy that. I heard that just last month, a waitress at work at a restaurant in New York took a selfie with one of her regulars, and they were both arrested by undercover FBI officers on patrol that were at the restaurant and sentenced to 5 years for copyright infringement.

This is not regular stalking, this is statutory stalking! Statutory means, even if it is welcomed by all parties involved, it is still illegal.
