My previous boss (supply chain... "Make-'em-BLEED"...) would be proud of you .
Makes one evaluate our monthly 'parasitic drain' for items not really necessary.
Haha, most of it would be no daycare (which is actually happening for us right now, lol). Other than that it's really just cutting out cable (which we're considering removing already), eating out, and what is normally a few trips to breweries or happy hours. But I appreciate it!
Monthly expenses: around $500 a month.
Includes more expensive rural electric, liability car insurance on 2, cell phone, internet, entertainment, household, gasoline, and some groceries.
What we don't spend on:
Mortgage/rent, public water utility (well) or gas, expensive cell plan, car payments, credit card payments, eating out (maybe once a month), cable/satellite, gym memberships, or fast fashion. My husband repairs most things himself. Our home is nothing fancy, our vehicles are older but gets us there. We have a garden. We live pretty simply and our expenses are covered with a part-time income (well, before corona and it closed).
Being frugal allows us to live this way, and I'm always working towards cutting down expenses even further.
