I've been doing that McD's receipt survey for several years and that's only a buy one, get ONE free, not buy three or four and get three or four free.

I've posted about this before, but if you have a Popeye's restaurant near you, they have a great deal with their receipt. Do the online survey listed on back, write the confirmation code on the receipt and, when you buy a large drink, you get 2 pieces of chicken and a biscuit free. That's a good meal for under $3. What you buy the first time has to be over $7.50 to get the deal.

It costs $11.50 for a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Fries and a Coke. Totally worth it to do the survey. Too bad I lost my receipt so I'll try to get one off the ground next time I am there.

Thanks for the tip. We like to eat there sometimes

In Northern VA, the deal is buy one, get one free quarter pounder or Egg McMuffin for completing the survey.

I had no problem with understanding it.

While I like punctuation, I see no need to assert my superiority over those who are too casual about their commas. I actually see very little that would justify perfect spelling and perfect punctuation in a tiny little note that will basically disappear from notice in 24 hours or closely thereafter.

Some posters are typing on phones, some posters are not native English speakers, and the grammar Nazis are more irritating than the folks who make grammar errors. Equally, I am sure my note here is an annoyance to everyone else who wishes to just get on with the conversation and not get bogged down in having their English teacher correct their work with a red pencil.

You aren't helping anyone. You are delusional if you think that posting an address for a site on punctuation will fix anyone's language usage, or even that anyone will actually click on that and read it, let alone study the lesson.

Back to McDonald's and I don't know if it fit that thread but a McDonald's commercial in Japan had got some big reactions on Twitter.

Today I did the same thing got her just a breakfast biscuits that's two of them cuz you can buy one and get one another one for a dollar and I stopped and got the receipt so then I came back and I dropped off the food and I was looking at the receipt so I did a customer satisfaction survey.

Now since I did it I am now permitted to buy one item and get the same item for free as equal price. So I went to the McDonald's deals menu and looked at what they are offering and they are also offering buy one get one free so in other words I could buy four Big Macs with cheese for $5.29 for the first two and the other two I get free so you're looking at with tax $11.48 for four McDonald's Big Macs and if you divide by four you comes out to $2.87 each which normally they're $5.29 each.

So if you had like three friends over and you wanted McDonald's there you go. Now I don't know what you do about shakes and fries but hey the main meal is the burger. Or you could order all four and stuff your face for lunch and microwave the other two for dinner
You are thinking way too hard about this. Too much time and thought. Just stay away from there. I love. Big Macs too but I stay away.

Makes people furious, but it runs in Japan, so the question is: Does it make the citizens of Japan furious?
