Get ready for more protests after another black man was shot by a white police officer in Atlanta today. Sorry, this shooting was justified. Black guy fell asleep in his car at Wendy’s Drive Thru. Cops came and he failed sobriety test. Resisted arrest, got ahold of officers taser, ran away and began pointing it at office. Shot. Dead. Gone. Too bad he died but when anyone resists arrest, my sympathy goes out the window.
So, the wonderful folks burnt Wendy’s to the ground in a fiery inferno. Sorry guys. No one ever said a black persons will never get shot by a police officer again.it will continue to happen, as it would to a white person, when they resist arrest. Here we go again.

Get a DUI charge today and you may as well curl up and die! In NV, if a nurse gets a DUI, she can lose her Nursing license. It can dog you for years and years.
Back in the old days, before it became too profitable to charge someone with a DUI, a police officer might just take their keys away, or, in some cases, drive them to their homes.
And don't police officers gain extra Brownie Points for DUI charges?
Just wait until they get the technology to arrest sleep-deprived drivers, who are equal in danger to drunk drivers and texters on the road! "Let's see here, this device shows you are driving with only 3 hours of sleep!" That's a $500 fine and your car will be impounded.
At .008 some people are in no danger on the roads with that much alcohol in their systems. And yet, when someone learns you have gotten a DUI, what will they assume? Too drunk to drive!
If you're driving for 24 hours, without sleep, it's the equivalent of having 3 shot of whiskey in your system.
There's way too much tunnel vision today with those driving under the influence.
It's been said that texting while driving is 6X more dangerous than driving under the influence.
I can easily understand why this man reacted like he did! My sympathies and hatred towards the officers!
Sheesh, just park the car, take the keys away from him and, when sober, have him come to the police station to get his keys. A more civilized way of dealing with this!

My understanding is that they only asked him to park the car (he was blocking the drive through lane) and he became belligerent.

In this case, the cops messed up when they were going to put handcuffs on him (a bad guy) and then ended up with a mess where one of them almost got his faced tazered

He resisted arrest. He was a big, strong, drunk guy and just overpowered them. Maybe they should have tazed him the moment he started resisting, but then of course they'd be spanked for excessive force. You can't win.

So, for a man that was drunk and decided to sleep it off and not get in harms way of the public, runs from the cops and tries to get away and you have no sympathy for him. Well, I guess you have a right to your opinion. However, if you are a black man in America and a cop approaches you, we are to remain calm, keep our cool, don't be nervous, and don't believe anything can or will happen to you?
