I think you can still find brick homes, in more established communities. This is an example of something in Holly Tree. I have no affiliation to this house, just using it as an example. Check out the area, very nice. Meets airport requirements too.

From what I've heard apartments are going fast too. We have a shortage of MFD in this area. But the tide is starting to turn abit.

It is a little older, but there are many things I like about that! I love the brick!

Totally good without a basement. I guess that is why many houses in AZ tend to have large/multiple garages.
