The first part of the summer was definitely cooler than average. The last month or so have been average to slightly warmer.

It was cool for much longer than normal. Once it got hot.. It stayed hot. hung up in the 90's for quite some time.

But, that 'hanging' high temps is pretty normal. We've hit a week of pretty cool stretching out here.. But the temps are jumping right back to the 90's on.. Monday I think


I always set the 'break' point where we don't generally see the 90's anymore as mid September or so. We're not there yet.

Sometimes.. It drags on later than that.

So.. Overall.. I'd say the sustained temps were unusual. We had a much cooler than normal start to the summer season.. meaning, we actually had a spring season. And.. it's too early to say if we'll actually have a fall or winter or when they'll arrive.
