Just a note, the pollution comes from upstream I would think, not the city.
And as a side note. fishing is not advised in the river either.
Runoff from the streets as well adds to the pollution.

I read a report that said anuimals such as dogs and cats have more ecoli in their poop than wild animals. The influx of new people in the areas "close to" the Reedy, as well as runoff from sewage leaks, etc. could and probably does contribute to some of it, but not all of it.
My father was on an environmental commission in another state, and commented when he saw a field by my house in Greer that he was surprised that cows are allowed to graze, and of course poop, right next to streams. Or maybe they aren't allowed but if so they don't enforce it.
I want into the Bohemian lodge for the first time.
The lobby area design allows for a good amount of natural light. Figured it would be darkish in there
I didn't know it has a large common balcony with some chairs. It was nice hanging out there looking at the lower waterfall. Going there will become a staple of my downtown itinerary.
This hotel is probably the closest to a waterfall in the country.
The lodge in Amicalola Falls State Park in Georgia and the lodge at Cumberland Falls State Park in Kentucky are close but still a little walk.
