I'm picking up a Glock 30s next week. Sweet little double stack .45 with a slimmer slide. It will be the companion to my 21SF.
I have a pair of glock 30's. Not a pocket pistol either. I suggest you go to the range and shoot one for a bit. They have a really big grip and kind of a strange kick compared to a 1911 or a .40. I have really big hands but most people dont and find it very cumber sum and hard on the wrists. If you like it good for you. I like mine too.

No- not a pocket pistol. I've fired both 30 and 30s. I prefer the 30s and find it a very good fit for me.
My question to the OP would be , are you really looking for a "pocket pistol " or just something more compact than you are using now ? But , it seems he hasn't been back since page one .

I have thanked many posts in this thread but I have disregarded those who apparently never bothered to read my op, that I now have and carry a Glock 27 and am looking for something much smaller because the 27 is too big to carry all the time, since I live in South Florida where it is too hot to wear jackets or even vests.
So far I am considering a Keltec or Ruger .380 for everyday carry. I do have a North American 22 magnum but consider that to be an extra gun rather than a carry gun.
Oh and to answer one question, I am a young 68 year old who shoots better than most people do, I can continually do head shots at 35 feet and I have been carrying since I was 21.

Like I said before, Try the P3AT. Not the sexiest pistol, but it is very small and thin. I have the first generation and did a little work to it so it is very reliable. Ive carried it around in my pocket so long that the slide looks like chrome (originally painted black). Of course it is not a combat pistol but that is not what you are looking for either. Im not a fan of caring around a cocked pistol in my pocket so I have a piece of 80 grit sand paper glued to the top of the slide so I can palm rack it. Other wise it is just way to slick to grab.
