I love to "people watch" and one of the things I notice about people is their Haircut. I always wonder why people choose a certain style/cut of hair. Some people have long hair and should cut it, and others have real short hair and should grow it. I think most Americans could use a beauty makeover, but no one tells them so.

How did you choose your haircut and would a beauty makeover be in order?

My stylist chose my haircut. I am not picky.. as long as it's long enough to get in a ponytail, I don't care what style or color it is.

A beauty makeover can always be in order. You payin?

I have really long hair because I compete in ballroom and it comes in very handy for the different looks I need to achieve. I can do some really great updo's for smooth and standard and I can do some awesome, sassy ponytails for latin and rythym. Plus, I just feel like Samson with my hair - it contains my strength! LOL

My hair falling out was a major factor in me being a skinhead

I did not choose to go bald, but love it.

Because its easy. I have long hair & in the morning I just throw it into a ponytail. I also have highlights, which I should keep up with more, but they are expensive, especially for long hair (that's when I cut it & abt. a week later go back for the highlights).
I don't have a desire to get up 2hrs or even an hour earlier than I already do to style my hair. I value my sleep.

Oh NO! The fashion police has now invaded the CD Forum!
I too am guilty of being the fashion police, while I am a little more than a little overweight, I still put on make-up everyday, do my hair in a nice short hairstyle, and still have all of my teeth. I wear clothes that are age and weight appropriate.
I can be very guilty of sitting in the mall and just watching people, really checking them out...

My hair is short because I keep getting it cut. It's prematurely white and I think it looks pretty cool. People stop me on the street and ask about it.

I don't wear much makeup except eyeliner. I watch my weight and rarely dress up. I prefer the utilitarian asexual look unless one of my other personalities takes over, then you never know.

What fun! And the costumes/gowns--absolutely incredible.

I would love the dancing but would not like a lot of hair to manage. LOL

I have some natural wave/curl so a layered style that frames my face works best.

sls
