Yeah, we poor people just like to whine about the rising cost of health care, college tuition for our kids, etc.

But Maduro is bad? Or not so bad?
There's probably more social equality and opportunities in Frio Rio?

I ain't ganna derail this topic any longer after this post. I stand by my opinion. My parents were the furthest thing from stable and I had my jaw butchered by a dentist in my 20's that I could neither sue for or use insurance for, if you're morbid enough to look:
Spoiler

parents were too busy getting evicted (poor choices on their part, mother and father never cooperated and father was always out cheating and my income was always helping mother and still is today) ... I was living on my own when I had to make the choice to sink or swim. There are no excuses. Your financial progression revolves around you and your personal mindset.

Life is much easier when you can live at your parents house for 3-5 years to save for down payment for a house
Or when your parents give you their car or a few thousand dollars
Life is a series of choices. Anyone that works could become wealthy but most do not have the discipline to deny themselves of impulsive actions.

There are also tradeoffs. If you want 3 or 4 kids you are most likely going to struggle financially, but you get the enjoyment of your children so be happy. Make your choices and live with them.

I'm glad for you ... a short explanation would have been enough

I'm not going to share my whole story but I find it funny when people think "I should have worked harder"
I can tell you this, my mom is the relative I've seen the most in the last 25 years and I've seen her about 7 times.
I've seen my dad 1 time, I've seen my brother 3-4 times.

Live in a neighborhood with retirees. They will know all the details of who, when and for how long.
