Terry's for the Super Bowl. Terrific. Reminded me of the old Terry's kitchen motto: Something in every bite!

Default Big Eds!

Big Ed's is on the Parkway now at the corner of University and the Parkway. We just recently discovered it and we're completely hooked!

Wasn't thrilled with Big Ed's, but I have been spoiled with Carmine's back home...

I'm finding folks have a different idea about Mexican here, too.

A Magic Mushroom would be nice. Garlic, onion and green olive...oooooooh yeah.

As you can guess, I'm a pizza junkie. We're going to try the ones recommended, then I'm going to see what it takes to open up a place. I've talked to a few of the pizzarias around here, and two guys are interested in the area. Cost of living and lack of quality competition are driving their imaginations wild.

Had Tony's in Providence- it was okay. Solid effort, but I think they have something in the water or air that makes everything doughie.

Reminded me of Sbarrro's but a little better. 5 , but I'm probably being generous.

Negative - Muy expensive.

^^^I've heard from others that it's biggest problem is consistency (which is a pretty big one in the restaurant world). I've been there twice, once it was good, once it was fantastic. Give it a try again.

Will do. I usually give most places two shots at least.

Might be later this week, but seems like I have a few other places I'll need to check out.

Was some place out towards Gurley, Bailey Cove area ... saw a sign for Pizza, but no name. Might give that a shot as we'll be living close to there for a bit.

FCEddie,

Have you tried Sam and Greg's yet? I really like it, the crust is softer than NY Style, but they use really good ingredients.

Where is it?

I did try "the Pizzaria" off Bailey Cove yesterday. Was actually pretty good effort. Place isn't fancy and appears close to brand new, but it was a solid 6.
