On the other hand, Goodland Pour House, appears to be off to a great start. Each night since its Tuesday opening appears to be a packed house. We tried to go Friday night and the 30 minute wait surpassed 45 minutes and our stomachs couldn't wait any longer so we hoped over to Lucia's. While reviewing the menu, I was expecting something a little different; a little more. It is somewhat eclectic ranging from shrimp & grits to "Detroit Style" pizza.

I hope it is successful and doesn't pull to much from other neighboring restaurants in that shopping plaza or along the CL corridor but rather helps attract more from those along HWY 72. Basically keeping the locals local and adding to the Madison City tax base instead of Huntsville's.

Default Road Maintenance Responsibility

Given that Count Line Road is bordered by Limestone County, Huntsville City, and the City of Madison; which entity (if any of the three) are responsible for the maintenance of the road? Is County Line another shared Charlie Foxtrot like Slaughter Road?

Reason for asking is southern section of the road starting from the bridge over the railroad tracks and further south is showing significantly more wear and tear than the northern section.

I believe it is Madison city. They were the ones who got the grant, or whatever it was called, of federal money to "expand" the road. Which was basically six inches on each side and the bike/walking lanes. Unfortunately this was a poor decision (like most of the road engineering around here) as it doesn't allow for shoulders and any stalls or accidents causes huge backups.

Does anyone have a link to the plans for the apartments being built on the corner of County Line Road and Hardiman Road? Just behind the DQ property.

You can use this site to zoom in on the area in questions. At this point, what you are looking for has not been added. But you can easily see the cluster happening a little farther south where all those apartments are going in.
