Apparently Rep. King is pushing for the "Birthright Citizenship Act of 2013" which would stop extending citizenship to anchor babies.

Good, we are one of the few, if only, countries in the world that allow anchor babies

What we NEED to do is cut off all of the freebies provided to the illegal immigrants, and make it harder for businesses to cut corners in hiring them. Once they realize they aren't getting a free ride, they'll lose the incentive to come here, and perhaps will figure out how to make their country a better place.

When we have a government that is a criminal, this will be hard to do. A simple and very quick solution would be to rid of the democrats first and then begin with the reform.

Except that our constitution was not written to allow foreigners, illegally crossing our borders, and popping out a kid before we can deport them, and claiming that kid has US citizenship.

We need to sign treaties and define our laws, so that when a foreigner who is within our borders, and violating our immigration laws, has a child, that the child is NOT a citizen of the US, that it's a citizen of their home country. Any country that refuses to abide by these laws, their citizens will be denied entrance into our country.

From the link:

""So for decades, women in labor have been allowed to cross the border and go to the nearest hospital..."

"Harvilee Moore, superintendent of Deming Public Schools, says in the Post documentary that the practice of allowing children who live in Mexico to attend Columbus schools dates back to a decision in the 1950s by a former school principal, and that decision has always been supported by the state of New Mexico".

The Birthright Citizenship Act of 2013 specifically does not apply to " anchor babies" born before the Act, becomes law which is unlikely, regardless of who has the majority or sits the oval.
