In 1960, the Eisenhower administration began counting the number of foreign nationals “apprehended” or “encountered” by what was then called the U.S. Border Control when crossing into the U.S. over its southern border with Mexico. These figures have been published and closely monitored through the years, and there has never been anything like the numbers we are seeing now. A human tsunami of previously unfathomable size—Border Patrol has had to handle more than 7.6 million border crossers in 36 months—has smashed every record, with each year’s numbers exceeding the previous year’s record in stair-stepping fashion.
Of the over 7.6 million illegals encountered by Border Patrol since January 2021, the number allowed to stay inside the U.S. is somewhere north of five million. But with the percentage of those allowed to stay now approaching 100 percent, if current trends hold, the total allowed to remain in the U.S. under the Biden administration will reach ten million by next January.
This upcoming documentary also covers those who evade BP despite their ability to walk in and be flown or bused to anywhere in the country.
Since they are going to great lengths to avoid the easier path, they have reasons not to go that route.
Just imagine how many more will come if Biden is re-elected. Billions of poor people around the world would love to come here and stay at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York for free.
Neither Party is telling you the truth. For a population to be stable, you need 2.1 children per adult female. The USA is at 1.7. That means the population becomes smaller, it ages and you end up with more and more people old and retired. This is a real problem with all the baby boomers retiring. There are two ways to fix it. The Republicans with their xenophobic views (Noem; When you become an American, call me) have gone with abortion bans. Very draconian abortion bans. They figure that will prevent the population drop as women will be forced to have babies. I am surprised they are not doing like Putin and offering medals for having kids. That will help 20 years from now as those kids enter the work force and start paying into Social Security. But it will be too late to really help. The Democrats, the ones that gave us Social Security and Medicare, have a vested interest in not having them fail. They realize we need workers NOW, not in 20 years. So they opened the borders so we can add millions of workers each year, people who will start paying into the SS and Medicare funds and keep it solvent. So you have Democrats pointing at the draconian abortion laws pushed by the Republicans and the Republicans point at the "open borders" of the Democrats. Neither party is telling you the real truth about these two policies because they do not want you to know what a mess we are in. And neither one want to rock the boat to the extend their two policies get shut down. So do not look for a compromise, we need the workers one way or the other.
In passing heard some FBI guy (former Homeland Security I believe) talking about the thousands of male military age coming across the border....and from places like Syrian and Turkey. Syria is designated by the US as a state sponsor of terrorism.
I mean, what are we doing?
This guy said they were 'surrounding us.' I think it's much much worse than they are leading us to believe. And I have always believed that another September 11 is right around the corner. I don't want to believe that, but I do.

Since when have the Republicans rejected legal immigration aka being xenophobic? What they oppose is illegal immigration and no we don't need millions of low waged earners who won't have much of an income tax liability so your point is moot. They take much more in taxes than they contribute. Now that's the real truth! We should only allow in immigrants that are educated and skilled and no we don't need them to make babies either as a smaller population to fit a smaller economy is much more desirable. What you are suggesting is to create more and more boomer generations. When does it end?
