I agree with everything you've said. The Ohio plates have too much going on and using license plates to promote conservatism is quite tacky.

Why not? Millions do it everyday with various stickers they place on their cars. Using license plates is just another means to tell the world something about yourself.

As a Christian I love using the In God We Trust to tick off gnostics and other Christians who take themselves too seriously. Get over it people. It's just a freaking license plate. Though I will say that this particular license plate is probably an effective method of letting would be carjackers know that there is definitely an increase in odds that this particular driver is carrying a piece.

Some folks in Illinois think the license plates are quite appropriate for Indiana - and not in a good way.

You like that it bothers people, then you tell them to get over it.

I don't think a Christian symbol should instigate animosity or indicate violence or threat of death, but my interpretation of Christ's message may be different from others'.

you buy a bumper sticker in a store ... the state handing out religious license plates ... hmmm hey Rave, I'd think you'd be against that like white on rice. Separation of church and state much?

I find that most people are hunky-dory with blurring the lines between church and state....as long as it is their church and their religion.

If those state-funded plates said "Allah Be Praised" there would be rioting in the streets.
