Is it just me or is it odd that an expansion of state control into the lives of millions of people would be looked upon a liberty? I'm not sure why the government is in the marriage business to begin with. I know one thing, divorce attorneys in Indiana are getting ready for a tsunami of legal fees coming their way!

I see. So when we get right down to it gay marriage is really about everything else in this country, money. Now that hundreds of thousands will now be paying less in taxes, I'm sure we will hear the cries from government leaders about needing to change the tax code and raise taxes due to lower than expected tax revenue.

The people absolutely need to fight this subjugation of the will of the people to un-elected appointed activists.

You mean upholding the Constitution that says no one can be denied equal protection under the law? That no one shall be denied life, liberty, and property without due process? The idea that all people are equal? The majority does not get to dictate life for the minority or say "We get these benefits but you don't because we don't agree with you."

I think our time as a state would probably be better spent fighting stuff like , oh say, poverty? Crime? Crumbling infrastructure in metro areas? I'm just sayin'....
