Being a former business owner did have many dealings with the Jewish business owner.
Some were small operators and a couple were millionaires.
They all got their money by working long hrs to start with and never looked at the time clock like some of their employees.
If you had a retail store and did not have enough income during the normal day...you stayed open with longer hours and 7 days a week.
NO such thing as a 8 hr day.
There is a little Jewish blood on both sides of my parents which explains why my dad owned his own business for many yrs and put in many hrs after closing time.
I learned to do the same and did well in my 36 yrs of self employment.

Yes, that's another characteristic of Jews. They seem to own their own businesses or go for managerial or professional jobs. They tend to value saving more than the population at large.
There also seems to be less of a taboo regarding talking about money than among non Jews.
Before anyone flames me, these characteristics are obviously not true for ALL Jews. But I think it's fair to say Jews are more likely to have these characteristics than non-Jews.

I would say that these characteristics are what most successful people have not just Jews. Jews are not different then other people and we don't all talk about money. I know in my house we don't talk about money.
I will also offer up that we do these jobs because historically we were not allowed to do other jobs. We also are in banking because historically Christians were not allowed to make loans to other people and the Jews filled that void.
We value education because it is what we have always valued. To educate our children. We are a strong community because we have had to be to survive as a people.
Jewish people help eachother to succeed and they promote eachother any way possible. White people don't do that, as that would be very racist of us. White people learn to see their own racist faults by virtue of the media.
And who controls that?
I'm confused about your comparing Jewish people to white people. Jewish people are white People too. Jewishness isn't our ethnicity because we come in all races. So we don't have a community of just one race. We work together because historically we have had to to survive.
I can't figure out how come Jewish people are usually rich... I work for window cleaning company and we provide service to about 2000 homes in the richest suburbs of Chicago, about 95% of our customers are Jewish

You're concerned about being "flamed," but you don't think twice about using a term like "a characteristic of Jews." If you understood a little more than what some people like to believe, you'd understand that a history of more than two thousand years' worth of discrimination has taught Jews as a group how to survive in what are often hostile environments.
As a direct result, Judaism has always put a premium on education. If you are well educated, you'll get by. And in a country like the United States, which has been freer and more open than just about any nation in the world's history, a group of people who value education are going to succeed. If that means we succeed at a disproportional rate to the rest of the population, then that's not a good reflection on the rest of the population. Perhaps they should try education as a means to success also. But you can't sit there and insinuate that Jews have some kind of sneaky, backroom method for cutting someone else out of the picture.
