I'm trying to save 2 dogs that are crammed into too small cages in someone's garage. Yes, we called the police about excessive barking, animal control came out and said as long as there's food, water, and they can 'turn around', there's nothing they can do until temps go over 100 degrees. The dog cannot stand up in one of the cages. The owner is a verrrryyyy LOUD, foul-mouthed big black nasty woman with blue hair. Been over there a few times and it's always nothing but screaming at us. HOA has been called, their rental manager. NOTHING! These dogs are being tortured in there. What suggestions does anyone have OTHER than call authorities, which we have several times. They are useless. They hide out from cops when they are inside. I need to get those dogs!

This could turn ugly for YOU.

Forget about the dogs.

Ignore your neighbor and don't get into confrontation with them. Look at what happened recently, with those neighbors that were arguing, with one ending up dead.

Just don't do it. It is not smart.

I would consider moving as well, if you have an unstable neighbor like that.

Also, have some protection for yourself (self-defense weapons), and watch your back coming to and from your house. You are living in a hostile city with plenty of idiots.

Vegas is weak.

I hate hearing stories about abused animals and how nothing can be done about it. Have you tried the local society for the prevention of cruelty to animals?

A picture (or video) is worth a thousand words you might get results if you can safely get those. Things like that go viral and stuff gets done.

If anyone would like a link to the video of her screaming (we did not put her face on video) pm me. You can see what we're dealing with. She's a renter, and unit is for sale.
I'm not leaving my paid off home..of 28 years because of some ghetto rat.

I will not ignore an animal in need. I will make their lives miserable until something is done.

I hate to say it, but you're not going to get much coverage posting here. Try other social media to get more exposure.

Problem is some landlords are not proactive on getting tenants out. You might look on the assessor's site and try to contact the owner. Then give him/her the phone numbers for NMi or Leavitt evictions.

We have done everything. I'm posting here to get even more coverage about this, although this site is pretty dead. I'm doing everything I can. All those suggestions have been done. They say wait until it gets over 100 degrees out. That is unacceptable. Casting a wide net about this...maybe someone is willing to step up. I'm not letting it go.
