Except for the part where immigrants pay taxes HERE, consume HERE and pay into US programs like social security and medicaid from which they won't see a penny.

But the foreign workers arent being paid less, in fact they get paid the same but get some nice bonuses / extras that US workers dont get (relocation fees, sign up bonuses etc) and they cost 1000's in lawyer / immigation fees - so why are companies hiring these people. Because they cant US people to do the jobs!

This country was built in on immigration!

Idiots!
I say the reason we have immigration control laws is for a REASON......reasons some people don't want to acknowledge

We need to take this one step forward: There aren't enough (US)Americans who are willing to transplant/move to where the jobs are.

If the Amnesty passes we should stop immigration from the Countries with the most illegals that receive Amnesty for 10 years. Im afraid if we don't the melting pot we call America will no longer be............Use those slots for immigrants that will be of benefit to the USA and keep a balance.

What complete claptrap. What you might want to have said is that "there aren't Americans who would do the work so CHEAPLY."

Both Bloomberg and Bill Gates testified before Congress how STUPID we Americans were and how much they needed visa workers. Both men should pay a high price in HELL for those lies.

There are many studies that show that immigration has little affect on wages/unemployment.

I'm reading a book entitled Methland: The Death and Life of an American Small Town. Boy, it's interesting, I highly recommend it!

The author explains the close connection of the meth problem and the immigration issue in the following way:

For example, say a small town had a meat packing plant that was owned by a local family. The jobs paid well, and everyone in town spent their money in town at locally owned stores. The town thrived. Then the local meat packing plant was bought by a larger corporation, which was in turn then bought by a larger, multi-national corporation. This large corporation fired all the local workers who earned a high wage, then brought in both legal and illegal immigrants and paid them either minimum wage or an illegal lower wage. The large corporation pays no health benefits. The consequences of this? Local workers who have lost their jobs either have to move or stay where they are at considerably lower wages and no benefits. Local stores are hurt because much less money is being spent locally. Many of the people in these towns suffer from depression. Some turn to drugs.

Obviously, then, American workers were working in these jobs which some now say "no American will do." So the concept that immigrants are doing jobs Americans won't do is a complete myth.

Also, meth is being brought into the United States by immigrants from Mexico who are acting as mules for the large Mexican drug cartels. Obviously, it is only a small percentage of immigrants who do this - but they ARE doing it, and this IS how meth currently reaches the American heartland. Homegrown labs can't compete with the quality or cost of the meth coming up from Mexico, so it hasn't been an issue of "rednecks cooking in their bathrooms" since about 2006.

I don't blame the immigrants - they are just trying to better their lives. But this isn't 1900, it is 2013. America is full. Americans need the work. Americans also need work that pays a living wage.
