good places in Hawthorne?

There are good sections within Hawthorne - Hollyglen is in Hawthorne however Del Aire is not. Del Aire and Wiseburn are part of Los Angeles County Unincorporated. We use a Hawthorne zip code but that's it. We live in Wiseburn. Homes are now going for close to a million dollars today. We have the best schools. People are moving here for the great schools and it is relatively safe. We don't have shootings and neighbors watch out for each other.

Wiseburn is just under the 405 freeway from HollyGlen.

I do believe that before Mattel moved to El Segundo, their headquarters were located in Hawthorne. I think it was around where the Home Depot is.

There's also a Porsche dealership not too far from there. When they opened up, I was disappointed that they called it "Porsche South Bay" instead of "Porsche Hawthorne".
