Okay, I'm going to push this out to 100 miles and include Clovis, NM and Johnny Mulhair who owns a recording studio at Clovis. We must not forget our friends in New Mexico.

And of course Norman and Vi Petty who owned the studios where Buddy Holly and many others recorded.

I think it's just a hair over 100 miles, but we must not forget Bob Wills and Turkey, TX.

I didn't know Lee Ann Womack went to South Plains College. I'm assuming that was the Levelland campus?

Many years ago I attended the dedication of the sound stage at Levelland. Tom T. Hall was there.

I knew Tom T. Hall was a big supporter of SPC. I think the auditorium there is named after him?

I think it is, or at least was. I believe that old sound stage has been much expanded but I've not been in Levelland in several years. Somewhere I've got an old program from that dedication signed by Tom T. My then young daughter and her grandma cornered Tom T. for that signature. I can't remember what year that was but I think it was in the late 1980s?

I had thought Clovis was a little over 100 miles from Lubbock. The 100 mile's was from Google Earth.

And definitely yes on Bob Wills.
