Excellant advice guys!
Just by using this forum I feel alot more confident about the move?
I've yet to sit the NCLEX exam (lets me practice in the US) so I don't want to think too far ahead of me!
Look forward to come and joining you all though!

The NCLEX focuses on the minimum knowledge needed to safely practice as a nurse in the US.

Patient safety, prioritizing patients, and delagation are key. You will find about 10 Pharmacology questions on the 80-200 question exam. I would make sure you were refreshed on gerantology and cardiology, those two subjects seem to be quite common - but anything can be asked on the test.

The most important thing to do is to read the questions and realize that there might be more than one "correct" answer, but they are looking for you to use the nursing process to give them the correct answer - assessment first always!

If you get a study guide to the NCLEX you should do just fine. I would get one that is both book and testing CD. Look on Amazon there should be numerous options. Mosby's is quite commonly used in nursing schools here. There is a also a place to test right outside Springfield.
