Where did I say that? I have no idea what happened yet, because I don't have the facts.

Those Green Line trolleys make a lot of noise and don't go that fast on that stretch. He was either ogling BU coeds, or looking at his phone.

The apple store article - the driver was wearing sneakers , as mentioned.

Sure, I guess the sneaker can get stuck under the brake pedal - its possible, somehow... and then the gas pedal is floored, or something - as the foot is stuck....

And then panic, and then do not know what to do - innocent until proven guilty, perhaps.

Not innocent, no. BUt was it intentional? DOesnt look like it to me

Yes innocent until proven guilt. Looks like negligence the question is whether there are mitigating factors that lessen culpability. The fact that he's been charged him implies they have a baseline of evidence to support the charge. A review of cameras and black box information has probably yielded facts not yet reported. If he actually tried to brake, as he claims, that info may be in the box.

How is someone innocent when they drove through a glass building killing one and injuring 19? Nothing innocent about that. He was the driver. His car went through the building. Foot stuck my ass.

Innocent until proven guilty is a fundamental pillar of our Constitution and legal system. I guess you don't believe in the Constitution. Maybe you should check out life in a third world society. I'm a fan of western civilization.

It's also called common sense. Maybe it was an accident but he still did it.

Um, yeah, we all know he did it. The question now is why and how. We don't even know if it was an accident or if it was intentional or combination of both something intentional that was negligent causing an accident. What should be done about it comes after those questions are answered. What you're doing is not common sense you're guessing. Fine, guess.

I'm kinda with you on this. It would be a shame if he got off the hook. It's his car after all, and if the pedal got stuck in the past (as he claimed), he should've gotten it taken care of before it injured someone.

Hope he has good insurance. I don't think Flo is going to be happy about paying to repair a trolley.
