It's the weekly vehicle into building event....oops must have mistaken the gas pedal for the brake. Not a week goes by where this doesn't happen! I'm real curious, how much do these peoples' insurance rates go up b/c of this? Do they have any repercussions at all or get away scot-free? Points on their insurance? Citation?

Nah a vehicle already ran into a mental health hospital earlier this week. I posted about it. Sadly the driver died

I remember when I was a kid an old man crashed into a house near my house on his way to church. It was quite a scene. He seemed fine and got out of the car. The home owner was pretty horrified. It's hard to understand how it happens but clearly it does. Suddenly onset of medical issues, drugs, alcohol etc.

In the past I believed that cars crashing into buildings was all due to either seizures or confusion from the early stages of dementia but with the increasing frequency I wonder if marijuana use is now a contributing factor. In New Hampshire these events are still relatively rare like they were in MA over a decade or so ago.

It seems about half of the ones that happen in MA are intentional (the one that happened the other day at the healthcare clinic, then there was that Apple store one a little over a year ago...and I'm sure I'm missing some others)

I agree. I think many are intentional.

So are the intentional incidents influenced by drug use?
