He then moves on to explain how he's picked the Hispanic population as his target.

Of course it is a hoax. When you characterize a couple hundred million people by the actions of a handful of idiots, how could it be anything other than a hoax/lie?

Pointing out a minority as the root cause of all their problems, claiming that Germany was destined to be great again and only he had the vision to bring that about. Solid dose of nationalism and flag-worship, militarism, contempt for the weak and anti-intellectualism. Then he got the industrialists aboard by keeping the workers in line by banning trade unions and strikes, of course.
